Super Facialist Neroli Daily brightening cleanser review

Hi ladies

Today I will be reviewing another product I received in the LiveBloggers goody bag and yet another skincare item. The Super Facialist cleanser is a fairly new product which retails for £7.99 in Boots (Currently running a huge 3 for 2 offer across the store).

What they say

Daily Brightening Cleanser (£7.99, 150ml):  An SLES free cleanser, formulated with anti oxidant rich Mango Seed Oil and Grape Seed oil along with Hibiscus extract to deliver optimum cleansing benefits.   Whilst the skin is gently cleansed, a tightening polysaccharide combined with plumping Hyaluronic Acid further boosts this gentle, effective  cleanser  to ensure the skin is left feeling renewed, smoother, and more youthful looking.  The refreshing scent of fresh citrus notes orange, neroli, petitgrain and lemon give a wonderful sensory experience to the daily cleansing ritual.

What I say

I really enjoyed using this cleanser. The packaging is white, simple and the product stands up on the bathroom shelf. The product itself comes out as a yellowy tinted, almost clear gel consistency and it has a really nice scent which I'm guessing is mostly Neroli as per the name. The description says citrus scented but it smells more herbal/floral to me if I'm honest. When mixed with water the colour goes a bit milky looking and lathers a teeny tiny bit.

The packaging claims to 'melt away make-up' so I used it almost as a hot cloth cleanser and although it didn't work as great as my actual superdrug hot cloth cleanser (as I had to use that after to finish up) it did a decent job at melting my mascara down.

It also claims to result in younger looking firmer skin but in all honesty I have no idea what to say about that. What I can comment on is that it does leave my skin feeling very soft!

The range

You can find out more information at but the range also has a Rose based product used to hydrate and a tea flower formula which is used to deep cleanse. Although I probably wouldn't like the scent of either of those, I feel the formula would be more beneficial for my skin than one aimed at firming.

For 150ml of product, £7.99 isn't particularly expensive for a cleanser. I use this as a daily morning cleanser instead of using it to remove my make up in the evening. I'm not sure about the 'younger looking skin' claims but it leaves my dry skin feeling soft and moisturised so if you're in the market for a new gentle yet effective cleanser then I would recommend you give this a go.

Have you given this cleanser a go? Be sure to leave a comment sharing your favourite cleanser.

Till next time...Toodles! :)

  1. Hi Mez, glad you like this, I am not too keen on it since I think I need something a little more hardcore to remove my makeup but I agree its nice to use in the mornings.
I really like the clay mask they make, that is brilliant and I highly recommend you give it a go!

    Thanks for your review
    Grace x

    1. I definitely agree, it's good for a gentle cleanse but not enough to remove make up x

  2. I really want to try this range, not got round to going to the main Boots yet. x

    1. Be sure to let me know what you think if you do manage to get hold of it x

  3. Im really interested in trying one of those acid this n acid that lol that will rejuvinate my skin.. i have never even had a real facial in my life lol :o x

    1. I've never had a facial either. booo! :(

  4. Didn't give it a go but I prefer products which remove my makeup in one go. Sadly my favourite cleanser ever by Johnson&Johnson has been discontinued last year or so and I'm on the hunt for a new one ever since! x

    1. Aah I see, this definitely isn't for you then. I don't use this to remove make up but just a quick wash in the morning :)

Please do leave a comment lovely readers - I really appreciate it :)
