Empties #5

Hi ladies

So this is awkward. After my return I disappeared again but life is hectic I tell you. Today I will be talking to you about Empties. This would be further delayed if my mum didn't threaten to chuck the lot away. It has been a long time since my last empties and although I have acquired a lot I won't be talking about them all. Just the ones that stand out.

Rituals shower foam in Yogi Flow - £8.50/200ml
A luxurious shower foam from Rituals containing organic sweet almond oil to restore the skin's moisture balance and Indian Rose for relaxation.

I agree with the lot. This range from Rituals is actually amazing. The way the product shoots out like a gel and on instant contact with the skin turns into a foam. They have so many scents and any of the ones I have tried have been really nice. Although it may seem pricey for what is in effect a shower 'gel' it lasts for ages and feels so luxurious.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub - £8/300ml
For a review of this scrub check out my 'what a scrubber' post.

Barefoot SOS Dry Scalp Shampoo - £13/200ml
This is a gentle, deep-cleansing treatment shampoo for dry sensitive scalps, even those prone to dandruff. This mild dry scalp shampoo combines a gentle foaming coconut extract with moisturising and regulating oils and active herbal extracts to soothe and condition. A blend of essential oils calm and relax the scalp and senses. Hair is clean, shiny and deliciously fresh-scented; and your scalp feels relaxed, hydrated and nourished.

I was sent this last year by the brand after they saw my tweet about my dry scalp problems. Although I don't have sensitive skin, being 100% natural I should think this would be good for people that can't use other shampoo's filled with nasties. I really liked the scent of Lemon tea tree and Geranium, it was very fresh and uplifting. In all honesty I'm not sure how much it did to tackle the dandruff but it definitely didn't make it any worse and I enjoyed using it.

Super Facialist Neroli Daily Brightening cleanser - £7.99/150ml
You can check out a review of this here.

Yes to Carrots Lip Butter - £2.99/4.25g
I'm not sure how many lip balms I've actually finished but here's one. It lasted a good while because I have a few on the go at any one time. I don't think this brand is widely available but here is a website which has one with the same packaging as mine (it may be older stock and I have never used the website, just found it with a quick google). You can get what I presume is the latest packaging from FeelUnique.

17 Hide & Chic Concealer - £4.99
I have a review of this here.

Salt of the Earth Deodorant - £3.79/100ml
I used this quite a while ago and really liked the non aerosol replacement after using the Weleda offering. This deodorant is a no frills option for those looking for something that is free from Alcohol, Aluminium Chlorohydrate, Paraben's, Fragrance and Propellants.

I don't think it would do the job in summer but it gets you by in winter. It is unscented and you can squirt quite a lot in one place but that's the downside of having a non aerosol can. You can get this from Holland and Barrett and it is currently buy one get one half price.

Origins GinZing Energy boosting moisturiser - £23/50ml
Although I only had a sachet of this, I really enjoyed using it in the height of summer. The zesty scent is so refreshing and the lightweight gel/cream hybrid makes it really light on the skin without sacrificing hydration. I'm not one to spend a lot on moisturiser so I don't think I would purchase it but if you are, this would be a great addition to your spring/summer skincare.

So there we have it.

Till next time (who knows when that will be)...Toodles! :)

I'm really liking yes to products lately, I have the cucumber lip butter but it's a bit too minty. I wish we could get the whole range in uk. :(
